This is a beautifully illustrated picture book about the
Wurundjeri Aboriginal people of Australia. It shares about the culture and
beliefs of their origins and land. It also includes some of their language with
translations.
I enjoyed reading this book. My favorite part was definitely
the illustrations. It is a beautiful book that reflects the culture and mindset
of this group by sharing their traditions and connection to the land. I think
all elementary students will enjoy the illustrations but because it is not a
story it may be harder for EL (K-3) students.
