Olive has had with her little brother’s pestering, so tells
him enough is enough! It takes a little
convincing, but her leaves her alone, and she has a chance to rejuvenate until
she is ready to play again.
The summary makes it sound a bit odd, but in reality
Saltzberg’s book is quite satisfying and fun. Olive tears a little hole in the backdrop of
each page as she moves from scene to scene, which gives this a little kick and
when she goes back to her brother, I too felt it was just the right time to
return. What a great way to show feuding
siblings that quiet time is a great time to savor, not sulk.
