This book is divided into chapters based on the interesting
adaptions of spiders such as camouflage, mimicry, venom and hunting, and web
building. Each chapter features an eye catching photograph, tons of fact
tidbits, and a comic style information page.
Just like the other book that I reviewed from this
series, I think students will enjoy this book. In my library a spider book
would be more popular than an insect collection. This book has an appealing
cover, many bright clear photographs, and comic style illustrations. Best of
all the information seems carefully crafted to not only appeal to student
readers but to provide just enough factual information without being overwhelming.
