This book is told in story format, where the reader enters a
pyramid and travels through. It features a variety of mind puzzles some of
which include hieroglyphics, though most are just mind puzzles with an Egyptian
theme. Filled with bright illustrations and tips for how to accomplish the task
using props or paper and pencil.
I think this is a fun book for readers who like puzzles and mind teasers. It would
be a part of your game and hobby section rather than your ancient Egyptian history
section, because it does not contain any factual information. I think students
will like that it is presented in a story format, making the mind teasers feel
like they are part of an adventure.
