To add just the right details, they are going to need some new fancy hats. They go to the street fair and find just what they need and then head for home to dress themselves up and plan the perfect tea party. When they invitations are done, their moms arrive to a fancy surprise “thank you” tea party. I love Leuyen Pham illustrations so much. The daughters resemble their mothers and all of the hats, decorations, and imaginative aspects are perfect. The cover of the book is extra sparkly. If slightly disjointed, the story is very sweet and the message of doing something nice for their mothers comes across well. EL (K-3)- ADVISABLE. Reviewed by Shay, School Librarian
