The Angry Birds Movie: Seeing Red by Sarah Stephens- OPTIONAL

Stephens, Sarah. The Angry Birds Movie: Seeing Red, PICTURE BOOK. Harper Festival, 2016. $3.99. Red is a bird who becomes easily angry. Lots of little things seem to bother him. He’d like to earn money to finish building his hut, but he gets angry at so many jobs he always gets fired. He tries a few more jobs, but his temper takes over. There is only one job left. Red must dress up like a clown and deliver birthday cakes. When Red sees his reflection, there is no way he can be angry. He looks so silly, he can’t stop laughing. This book ends very abruptly, like there should be more to the story, but there just isn’t. The pictures look great though and if you have a reader population who loves The Angry Birds Movie or game, this will be a good purchase. EL- OPTIONAL. Reviewed by Shay, School Librarian
