Let the Wind Rise by Shannon Messenger - ADVISABLE

Messenger, Shannon  Let the Wind Rise (Sky Fall, #3), 407 pgs.  Simon Pulse, 2016.  $17.99  Content: Language: PG-13 (8 swears); Mature Content: PG; Violence: PG-13.

Audra has been caught by the enemy, Raiden.  Vane wants to go and rescue her, but the Gale guardians try to restrain him.  Vane breaks away from the Gales and gathers an odd rescue party, while Audra tries to keep herself and her friend Gus alive under the torture of Raiden.  In this final showdown between good versus evil, Audra and Vane test their bond.

This is the final book in the trilogy and has a very satisfying ending.  I love the world that Messenger creates because it’s creative and the author stays within her own world parameters.  Vane is hilarious and I laughed throughout.  Good fun read with the violence being torture.
