Playfulness abounds in this 1-10 counting book, and each
page illustrates the number using a one-to-one correspondence of pictured
animals. The text format is rhyming
couplet in which the number words and rhyming words are emphasized with a
larger font.
I don’t see that this is a stand out for this type of
book. The illustrations are bold but
look computer-generated, and the author’s choice of animals and words is
unremarkable.
