All We Have is Now by Lisa Schroeder - ADVISABLE

Schroeder, Lisa All We Have is Now, 272 pgs. Point (Scholastic), 2015. $17.99.  Language: PG; Mature Content: PG; Violence: PG

If you only had 24 hours left, what would you do? Spend it with those you love? Do something new, one last time? Or grant a wish? This story follows Emerson and Vince on their last day-everyone’s last day-on Earth. They go on a journey of granting wishes, and meet some very interesting people and their stories. But they also have some un-granted wishes they hope to fulfill on their last day.

The story was told in the third person, so it felt like the author trying to tell a story rather than immersing the reader into the story and seeing the story from the characters point of view, also there are a lot of references to modern pop culture, which may not be understood in the future…
