This is the song Octopus’s Garden by the Beatles illustrated as a kid’s picture book.  A kid imagines what it would be like to live beneath the ocean and play with the different sea creatures.  They would sing, dance around, play in the coral, and read with the octopus.  It wouldn’t matter if there was storms above because they would feel safe.  

This is a brightly illustrated book with cartoonish kids playing on the ocean floor.  The song is lyrical and reads like a poem, so it’s a fun read aloud.  There is an audio CD included that has the Beatles song, and then Ringo Starr reads the story.
