A pug dog watches everyone in his home go to sleep, but he can’t go to
sleep. So the dog goes outside and
watches all kinds of different animals and the different ways they sleep. He comes across a herd of sheep and while
counting them gets tired, so he heads home to where his owner is upstairs in
her room, also having trouble sleeping.
The pug finally falls asleep.
This book is told in rhyme and is a fun read aloud. The adorable illustrations of the pug dog and
other animals make for a sweet goodnight story.
The storyline isn’t compelling, but it’s soothing and perfect to put
little ones to bed to.
