After becoming wanted for the murder of his aunt, Doug and his friend, Jamie attempt to save the secret compound his aunt works in. When his friend Jamie turns some steaks into skunks, the two friends are able to send the skunks between virtual and the real world to figure out what really happened to his aunt. They soon discover that VIRUS, an evil organization, is trying to take over the world. Can Doug and Jamie figure out what happened to Doug’s aunt? Can they save the world?

A fun, fast-paced story for action and adventure junkies. The characters are fairly well-developed. The plot is intense. Readers, especially boys, who like gaming, virtual reality, computers, action, and saving the world will enjoy reading this book. EL (4-6), MS. OPTIONAL.
