Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Oliver, Lauren Delirium, pgs.448. Harper, 2011. $17.99. Language- Pg-13(16 swears, 2 'F' words) Mature Content- PG-13; Love. It kills you both when you have it and when you don't. Love... It used to be a good thing, but now it's a sickness. Scientist have found a cure to rid humanity of love. A life without love is a happy, safe, painfree life. All citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Haloway is deeply anticipating the day she will be cured. And now she's counting down the days, only ninty-five days left, and does something unthinkable: She falls in love.

I loved this book! It makes you go deep into your senses and makes you try to imagine a world from Lena's perspective. I would recommend this book to anyone one that loves getting into a characters position. This book is rated PG-13 because it said the 'F' word a few times and had some teen drinking.
