Background for the story is Boston, along with a hint at Israeli life and wars. Focus is the impact of war on the soldiers who fight it, and the stress which extends to the entire family. Initially slow-moving, but always with an undercurrent of concern for what has gone wrong with Boaz, the story will catch you up and impel you to read to the story’s resolution.  HS – ADVISABLE.  Reviewer: C.M.M., Ph.D.
