MS – ADVISABLE

The King family has moved to a tiny wooded town and found themselves a gorgeous old house that needs some tender care. When he boys explore, however, they find a secret hallway of mysterious doors that lead to different worlds, places and times, most of them smack in the middle of danger – and the doors shift without explanation or pattern. More danger lurks than they know – including an incredibly strong mystery figure who snatches the kid’s mother and whisks her away. The family is desperate to find their mother, but they have complications in the worlds behind the doors and an enemy in the world without.

This first in a planned series of who knows how many titles (there are five planned at this moment). These books have received a lot of good buzz and are pretty exciting – I just hope they don’t drag on too long, because there isn’t a lot of character development going on. EL,
