Jane, Unlimited by Kristin Cashmore - NOT RECOMMENDED

Cashmore, Kristin  Jane, Unlimited, 450 pgs.  Kathy Dawson Books, 2017 (Penguin).  $18.99

Content: Language: R (85 swears; 11 “F”); Mature Content: PG-13 (talk of sex); Violence: PG-13.

Jane has recently lost her aunt and before her aunt passed she promised that if ever invited she would go to Tu Reviens.  So when Jane is suddenly invited by an acquaintance to go, she packs everything she owns and quickly finds herself immersed in a wealthy lifestyle.  As Jane is trying to figure out the mysteries of the home and the many people there, she begins to uncover the multiple dimensions available to her, which is maybe why her aunt wanted her to go in the first place.

This book is wack-a-doodle.  The characters aren’t likable and there is way too much going on.  Parts of many classic novels are recognizable throughout, but it feels jumbled and too much.  As I began to uncover the books mysteries it kept getting weirder and parts of the story are repetitive because she is entering other dimensions. The dismemberment of Winnie the Pooh in one of her dreams/dimensions was a bit upsetting as well.

MS, HS –NOT RECOMMENDED.  Reviewer, C. Peterson.
