This story needs a ton of things, it only starts with a Pig in a Wig. Then the boat gets crowded with creatures, like a skunk on a trunk and more, Pig doesn’t think the story is working for her. But being alone isn’t great either. Will she figure out a good compromise to end her story?

The size and feel of the book, along with the pig of course, reminds me strongly of a low quality Mo Willems knockoff. That being said, there is a lovely rhyming scheme to the story, and it comes to a great ending that will teach children about being flexible and creative. The artwork is bright and simple, and the wording is a perfect level for pre-k.
