This book explores all different aspects of
eggs-their size, their purpose, how they are carried, where they are laid, how
long the incubation process and how the eggs hatch. Many different types of insects, reptiles and
birds eggs are explored with bright and easy to follow illustrations. There is a ton of information in this book,
so it can appeal to many levels. Little
readers can point and ask questions about specific kinds of eggs, but the
vocabulary to read alone is more for upper elementary and middle school kids. Steve Jenkins and Robin Page do it again with
a fun fact-filled book of information.
