The Spirit Glass Charade by Colleen Gleason - ADVISABLE

Gleason, Colleen  The Spirit Glass Charade, 354p. Chronicle Books, 2014.   2014. Language: G; Mature Content: G; Violence: G (minor).

Mina Holmes and Evaline Stoker survived their first mystery together, but there is no guarantees that they can stay speaking to each other long enough to survive another. But when young women start showing up dead around London - young society women, the two must join forces.  Not only do they need to unlock a deadly sect that may include a friend, but they must also stop a lair of vampires.

I love the action and adventure and the interplay between the two main characters.  The only thing I don’t like is the character of Dylan.  Pulled into the past from our modern world, Gleason treats him like a throwaway character, but he deserves a story of his own, not just bits.  I can only hope.  If you have an active steampunk collection, this is a good addition.
