The Dinosaur Tooth Fairy by Martha Brockenbrough - ADVISABLE

Brockenbrough, Martha The Dinosaur Tooth Fairy.  Illustrated by Israel Sanchez. Arthur A. Levine Books, 2013. $16.99. PICTURE BOOK.  This book is about a Dinosaur Tooth Fairy that has a very impressive collection of teeth.  But she is sad because all of her dinosaur friends are extinct.  She knows what will cheer her up: a new tooth to add to her collection.  She finds the perfect loose tooth when watching a little girl who is visiting the museum.  The little girl loses the tooth right there in the museum.  This is her chance to get the tooth.  The little girl leaves to return home and the Dinosaur Tooth Fairy must find her.  Will she get the tooth of her dreams?  I liked the illustrations and the clever words that the author used.  I liked the story line and the idea for a Dinosaur Tooth Fairy- not just the regular Tooth Fairy.  Pre-K.  EL (K-3).  ADVISABLE.  Student Reviewed: JL- age 11.
