Leo has a special gift to Sound Bend (hear sounds from objects). His parents have disappeared and he is stuck in New York with his evil step uncles.  When his uncle isolates him from his friends and separates him from school with his brother, Hollis; Leo feels angry. Soon his uncle has his eye on a twin Mask that only Leo can lead him too. Helping his uncle is the only way for Leo to get money to find out what really happened to his parents. Soon Leo chooses to travel to Borneo to help his uncle. Will Leo abandon his morals?

A great adventure, this book provides many discussion point for classes. Although the plot is implausible and the characters are hard to keep track of, readers who like adventure, science fiction, and adventure will enjoy reading this book. MS- ADVISABLE.
