Oliver is scared of his first day
of school. To gather a little courage, he decides to take his alligator with
him. Whenever Oliver gets scared, he says “munch, munch” and the alligator eats
the item of his fear. Will Oliver learn to face his new situation? Can he be
brave?
The text is simple and the illustrations
bring the story to life. The fun, surprise twist at the end will delight and
entertain little children as well as help them to cope with starting school.
