Father of Lies by Ann Turner

Turner, Ann Father of Lies, pgs. 265.HarperCollins, 2011. $16.99. Language-G (0 swears) Mature Content- G;

Lidda lives in Salem Village and has to live by stern rules. She doesn't like to abide by the rules of the village; she longs to be free and live as she chooses. Then witch fever comes over the village and Lidda can feel and see things that others can not. She wants to tell the truth, but is scared that she might get deemed as a witch if she does.

This book was a very interesting book. It helps you see back to the time of the Salem Witch Trails. It was a well-written book, but I don't know if I would call it a favorite. I really liked to see the rebellion build up over time in Lidda, it made for a good ending.
