Our Tree Named Steve by Alan Zweibel

Zweibel, Alan Our Tree Named Steve illustrated by David Catrow 32 pgs. G. P. Putnam's Sons, 2005. PICTURE BOOK. $15.99. This is a sweet and sentimental story. A father writes a tribute to their family's faithful tree, Steve. Steve has been there through thick and thin with the family but his days are numbered. This story has a sweet and touching message, but it may be beyond kids to fully grasp, but they will still enjoy the colorful pages and charming story. EL-ESSENTIAL. Whitney, Library-Teacher.

I LOVE this book. The story hits home with me and reminds me of my grandmother. She understood the importance of our trees.
